Project Requirements

Located in a mountainous industrial area, this air dome coal storage project faced multiple challenges, including unstable weather conditions, continuous production requirements, and complex construction environments with operations and installation activities taking place simultaneously. Numerous uncontrollable factors required a highly efficient and professional construction strategy.

To ensure safe and smooth installation, the project team developed a detailed construction plan based on the site conditions. The installation process adopted 8 truck cranes working together for coordinated lifting operations, successfully overcoming challenges caused by the large-span membrane structure and complex working environment. The lifting operation was completed by precisely controlling every stage, including crane selection, positioning, lifting point arrangement, and on-site coordination.

The successful completion of this 32,450㎡ air dome coal shed demonstrates the excellent adaptability of air-supported membrane structures in large-scale industrial storage applications. The project provides a clean, efficient, and environmentally friendly enclosed storage solution for coal mines, power plants, and industrial enterprises, helping reduce dust pollution, improve storage safety, and support green development.
